Monday 16th November - Developments Arise. Some photos of the work I've been up to. Using a board to pin everything on has really helped, as well as using a long roll of paper instead of a sketchbook, it means I can see everything at once, which really helps when it comes to making decisions.
Using photoshop I created a composite of many of the film stills and I managed to get the prints onto silk. Very pleased with the results!
Starting to get a clear idea of the collection together. Exciting stuff.
Tuesday 3rd November - Film Stills. Using footage I shot at a friend's surrealist-themed party, I used the datamoshing Technique I discovered in my research to make a short film. These are stills from said experiment. It took a couple of takes to get the technique right, and I think infact these are from take 2 (of 3). I'm going to experiment with using them as digital prints onto fabric, Hopefully silk.
Friday 30th October - Embellishment Workshop. Experimenting with draping on the stand & Collar design/placement.
